NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF VETERINARY PHYSIOTHERAPISTS (NAVP)

NAVP members are required to adhere to sections 19 and 20 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966) and exemptions order (2015). Veterinary consent will be obtained before physiotherapeutic treatments. They must have professional liability insurance, complete annual CPD (continued professional development) hours, and practice in line with the association's regulations and standards of practice. NAVP members are recognised by veterinary insurance companies when submitting a claim to recoup physiotherapy treatment costs for an animal.
